This early morning, as I was up praying with Holy Spirit, I heard something. ( ps- the early hours are tender times with the Lord if you can will yourself up!)
“Come Rest your fears,” I heard.
Right now there is acceleration. The Lord is casting vision, and resetting our focus. It’s like I see many of us saying, “Do I really dare to dream that Big God? Is this really where you are taking me?” Change is at hand. Many of us are getting the bigger picture now, but with that comes the need to expand. We’re catching His vision. With expansion, we’ll come face to face with our absolute fears.
I heard the Lord say, “Really though, I want you to dig down deep. What really are you afraid of?”
Take a moment and really ponder that question. I’ll be honest, at first I was shocked when I heard that. But as I sat with the Lord and just listened, it led to one of most tender encounters with the Father I’ve had. Did you catch that?
“Fear of failure, Fear of Loss, Fear of missing out, Fear of the cost, Fear of change, Fear of doing it wrong, Fear of having the right help, Fear of getting the timing wrong, Fear of having the finances, Fear of never getting that Breakthrough, Fear of health challenges, Fear of rejection, Fear of being Alone”….these are just a few things I was hearing people are struggling with. I’m sure there is more, but these are just a few I heard.
Can we just take a moment and lay down our fears right now at the foot of the cross? Take a moment, and allow Holy Spirit to minister to you. If you can, physically see yourself handing whatever that fear is that Holy Spirit brought up-right back over to Jesus. As you hand it to Him, I encourage you to say “I trust you.”
Let me tell you a few things God is for you right now. I know that you know these things already, but sometimes it’s good to have a reminder!
God is your Provider. He gives you wisdom you’re needing right now. He is your rock and protector from evil. He will not let you down. He will never leave you. He will not abandon you. He will guide you and is not silent. He is your PEACE.
Come rest your fears. Come rest in His love.
“He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss.” Psalm 23:2 TPT
